To ensure that every patient receives the best care possible, our CNA's perform a full range of duties that are essential to maintaining a safe and clean environment, such as taking care of patients' personal hygiene needs:
- Taking vital measurements of a patient's bodily functions, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels.
- Gathering health-related information from patients and communicating the same to a registered nurse or doctor for analysis.
- Making a note of observations in patient charts that provide immense value to their ongoing healthcare management.
- Supporting patients who require help with repositioning their body to avoid discomfort or bedsores.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A positive standing in their state of employment is a top priority for any Certified Nursing Assistant
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families is also a crucial competency. Healthcare providers must have the ability to recognize and respond to emotional distress in patients and caregivers, and offer appropriate support and resources
- The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing electronic health record systems and accurately documenting patient information
